Who We Are
Lorraine, Christine and Bianca are the three friendly faces you’re likely to find at Woolybutt Knitting. At Woolybutt we pride ourselves on personalised service and will do everything we can to help you find what you’re looking for.
Woolybutt Knitting also shares the premises on Greville Road, Rosanna with Shacara Beaded Jewellery, and all the jewellery available in the shop is handmade by Carol of Shacara. Carol actually makes pieces to match the finished garments available at Woolybutt.
Why Woolybutt?
Woolybutt is the correct name of many of our Eucalyptus trees – those with the rough bark. In fact, I have a Western Australian Woolybutt growing in my front garden. Add a cheeky sheep and there is a name that hopefully people won’t forget!
What We Offer
As well as stocking the latest yarns from Patons, Sirdar, Heirloom, Naturally, Rare Yarns, Southwest Trading, Rooster and Opal, we take orders for hand-knitted garments and offer a finishing service as well as repairs of well loved pieces.
We also stock a large range of haberdashery items.
Further, we have our own in-house designs for many of our gorgeous yarns. Some of these are available on the website under “Patterns”.
Woolybutt Classes
Crochet Classes are currently running on both Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Knitting classes are by appointment on Saturday mornings.
